8/10 -

On day ten of our trip we went on a ten mile hike. Yeah, it sounded like no big deal at first...but by the end we were exhausted. Here's what we did:

Before the hike began, we were actually all (except Caleb) in a good mood. Nathan sports this lovely flower in his hair to prove that we were having a good time (yes, I told him I was posting it):

A little after the point in the picture below, the younger two boys headed back to the car, so their hike was only about 5.5 miles round trip. The rock formation was really cool though. The tree on top of it seemed to grow right out of the rock:

Here's a last picture of my parents on a cliff. It actually made my dad very nervous (as well as me considering my fear of heights).

When we finished our hike, we all agreed that the lengths mentioned in the map did not seem correct. We're sure we did at least 10 miles, if not quite a bit more. Needless to say, our feet were very tired.
