Happy New Year everyone!
Okay, so I needed something that would make me get back into a habit of blogging regularly, so I found this 30 day drawing challenge. Every day I will have something to draw/doodle. Most of the time I will probably just do cartoon-like drawings, but there may be days I will try to do something a little better. The challenge gives a different subject I have to draw every day such as my favorite food and book or my best friends. It should definitely be interesting.
Of course, I don't intend to post every day because I don't feel I would have enough to say about the doodles to make it interesting. I will be trying to post every weekend with photos of my sketches and explanations of what they are supposed to be (just in case you can't tell). Maybe I'll even talk about what I've been doing the rest of the week, if it's at all interesting.
Once I get back into school I have a feeling I will only end up posting the drawings. Let's face it, no one wants to hear my woes about trying to get all my work done every single week. I will do my first post with drawings in it either Saturday or Sunday (depending on what else is going on). I would post my first drawing today, except that I never actually drew it yesterday...so I'm already behind. Who would have thought that I would behind on a month-long drawing challenge when I have done NaNoWriMo two years in a row?
Well, for now I'm going to finish this post and get to drawing. I hope everyone is already having a good 2012! :)
